Good habits never die!

There are some good habits I’ve developed over the years and some which my parents instilled within me. When I get distracted, they bring me back home. They ensure I get through the day in one piece, they give me inner happiness and warmth.

I’m grateful I have them

Working with others

I’m a good team player and I don’t intend to change that. I love working on my own as well as working in a team. I’m never afraid to share my ideas, even if it gets stolen. There are those magical moment, such as the buzz of excitement as everyone throws their ideas together or the gathering and sharing after everyone has completed their individual tasks. The best feeling is when you’ve all worked together and made it happen. There is no greater satisfaction.

Well done, that’s a good job

Why, oh why, do we find it hard to praise anyone for the good they have done, yet, when they do something wrong, we are the first to jump on them?

Neglect, a time waster

Neglecting anything wastes time. Why? because when you could have dealt with the minor task, you left it, probably would have only taken 5 minutes. Now it has grown in a major task, it will take you 40 minutes to fix. Never procastinate.

I love Adventures

I love Adventures, if I didn’t have as much responsibility as I have now, I would have more adventures. The curiosity of what is around the corner, the excitement and suspense. The fun to be had. Hhhhhhhmmmmm, I’m thinking of a new place to explore.

Fulfilling the day

If your day, starts like time, it’s full to brim with routine and a things to do list for the additional tasks. At the end of the day, it’s a nice feeling to know you have achieved it all, you’ve maximised every ounce of the day. Well, I’m satisfied.

The Bigger Picture

When you’re completing a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, noticed you have to keep looking at the bigger picture to find out where to place the pieces. Look at life. You have a goal, look at the little pieces and fit them together to make the big picture.

Reward Yourself

Why not? You’re special. You’re hard working. You achieve a lot. Go buy yourself your favourite food, or a new console/PC game or go to your favourite place, for a new hours. Go on, you deserve it.

Thankful

When I stepped out of the rat race and look time to smell the flowers, I realised there is so much to be grateful for. At first when you look around, you think I’m here, this is how hard life is, blah, blah, blah. Look again, you have shelter, food, clothing, family, pets, love, etc. It’s hard to see the simple things of life, when you’re rushing around in a routine. Slow down and look around. Have a small break

Attitude counts

Yes, I written on my blog many times about attitude. I will keep ringing it out because it makes a big difference! As you travel through life and meet people, you see their face first and then their attitude.  Yes, attitude can be hard to adjust when you’re so used to being a certain way. It’s time to break that mould and be something different. If you’re negative, try being positive, it may hurt to smile, but you’ll be used to it. If you’re positive, be more positive.
